Kansas State head coach Collin Klein is making early waves in the 2028 recruiting class, extending a scholarship offer to Nebraska cornerback Aisaiah Bollen of Northeast Lincoln High School. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Bollen, a rising star in the defensive backfield, now holds four Division I offers after accepting the Wildcats’ commitment.
Klein’s recruiting push comes amid preparations for the Sunflower Showdown against Kansas, yet he remains focused on securing top talent for future seasons. Beyond Bollen, the Wildcats have also extended offers to offensive tackle James Bennett (6-7, 300 lbs), linebacker Drew Langford, and defensive back Elijah Smith, among others in the 2028 and 2029 classes.
Bennett, a standout from Missouri, has competing offers from Nebraska, Texas Tech, and Colorado, while Smith, a Texas standout, has drawn interest from Baylor and Oklahoma State. The Wildcats’ aggressive approach includes reaching out to younger prospects like 2029 wide receiver Deuntra Scheanette and 2030 wideout Noah Gigger, who is already considered a top-tier prospect with offers from Maryland and North Carolina.
Klein’s efforts highlight Kansas State’s commitment to building depth across positions, even as they prepare for high-stakes games like the Sunflower Showdown.
