Flavio Briatore moves on from Franco Colapinto crash: 'I was upset but the past is the past'

Alpine executive Flavio Briatore has addressed the recent collision between drivers Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly, choosing to look forward rather than dwell on the incident. Briatore noted that while he was initially frustrated by the crash, the team must now focus entirely on their ongoing constructors championship battle against Racing Bulls.

The multi-vehicle accident occurred during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, abruptly ending the races for both Alpine entrants alongside McLaren competitor Lando Norris. The unfortunate retirement proved especially costly because both of the team cars had been positioned to secure significant championship points prior to the collision.
