Everton legend Ferguson returns to management in Irish League

Former Everton striker Duncan Ferguson has been appointed as the new manager of Glentoran on a multi-year deal. He takes over the Irish Premiership side following the departure of Declan Devine in September, with Gary Bollan joining him as assistant manager.

Ferguson, who previously managed Forest Green Rovers and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, aims to lead the club to its first league title since 2009. His tenure begins with a home match against Ballymena United this Saturday.
