England to face Western Australia XI in warm-up match ahead of Australia ODIs

Ahead of an upcoming white-ball series against Australia, the visiting English squad is scheduled to contest a fifty-over exhibition fixture against a local side representing Western Australia on November seventh. White-ball head coach Brendon McCullum opted for this competitive tour match to help his youthful roster gain valuable preparation before the opening one-day international at Perth Stadium, noting that only a few veterans possess significant international experience.

Meanwhile, local skipper Ashton Turner expressed enthusiasm for hosting international competition at the recently regraded Perth venue, providing a showcase for emerging regional talent. Both teams may navigate roster availability hurdles due to overlapping commitments and workloads, though organizers anticipate a strong turnout.
