
Somerset has secured England international Dani Gibson on a contract extension that runs through the conclusion of the 2028 campaign. Across the previous two seasons, the 25-year-old all-rounder has made eight appearances for the county, accumulating 262 runs highlighted by a top mark of 77.
On the international stage, she has represented England in six ODIs and 35 T20 fixtures, producing 722 runs alongside 21 wickets.
Somerset head coach Erin Osborne hailed the contract agreement, noting that welcoming Gibson back provides an invaluable boost to the squad. Osborne emphasized that Gibson's rich background and elite experience offer crucial mentorship for the club's youthful roster.
