During a scorching Week 2 matchup in Nashville, the Philadelphia Eagles secured a dramatic 24-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The afternoon weather produced extreme conditions, featuring a blistering 95-degree kickoff temperature alongside a heat index reaching approximately 105 degrees.

The artificial playing surface became so punishing that turf temperatures soared to 157 degrees Fahrenheit, causing players' cleats to melt under the extreme heat.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts engineered the late-game heroics by connecting with Darius Cooper on a three-yard touchdown pass with only nine seconds remaining on the clock to seal the win.
