Dylan Raiola leads No. 20 Oregon past No. 12 USC 41-27 after Dante Moore’s frightening injury

Twentieth-ranked Oregon secured a 41-27 road victory against No. 12 Southern California after starting quarterback Dante Moore suffered a serious second-quarter injury that required him to leave the venue in an ambulance following a late hit.

Backup Dylan Raiola stepped in to throw for 289 yards and a pair of scores, fueling a strong second-half performance that featured touchdown contributions from Evan Stewart, Dakorien Moore, Jordon Davison, and Dierre Hill Jr. to open conference play successfully.

On the other side, Jayden Maiava threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns for the hosts, while Tanook Hines caught a game-tying score in the final period before the visitors pulled away. Despite a rally that leveled the score in the second half, the hosts fell short yet again in a marquee matchup as their defense struggled to contain the opposing quarterbacks.
