Dream look to clinch semifinals against New York

The Atlanta Dream extended their playoff dominance with a hard-fought 101-98 overtime victory over the New York Liberty in Game 2 of their WNBA semifinal series, securing a commanding 2-0 series lead. Angel Reese delivered a standout performance with 23 points, while Naz Hillmon’s clutch layup with 20.8 seconds remaining in overtime sealed the win.

The Liberty, who had previously upset the top-seeded team in the league, now face elimination after failing to close the gap in a game that stretched into extra time. The Dream’s resilience on the road underscored their momentum heading into the next round of the playoffs.
