Despite no South Africa contract, David Miller happy to be in 2027 World Cup plans: ‘I still want to play'

Veteran batsman David Miller has returned to the South Africa playing eleven for the opening one-day international against Australia. Although the left-hander lost his national board contract in April and plans to skip some series for league commitments, he remains available for selection and is part of the long-term planning for the upcoming global tournament co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Miller expressed disappointment over losing the deal but emphasized that representing his country continues to be his highest priority.
