Deion Sanders Hit With Blunt Message From Ex-Colorado Star After Fifth Straight Loss

Colorado is currently enduring a difficult stretch, having dropped five consecutive games following a 57-24 loss to Oklahoma State. The Buffaloes now hold a 2-5 record overall and remain winless in Big 12 play, putting them in a position where they must secure four victories in their final five contests to qualify for a bowl game.

Since the head coach signed a contract extension worth $54 million, the program has compiled a 5-14 record.

Former Colorado player Sav’ell Smalls, who medically retired due to congenital spinal stenosis, recently criticized the program's supporters on social media. After fans attempted to defend the coaching staff by attacking his personal statistics, Smalls acknowledged his own performance struggles while questioning why followers remain so devoted to the current leadership.
