Oregon starting quarterback Dante Moore has returned to practice wearing a helmet and pads, throwing passes during a recent session. The signal-caller has missed nearly two weeks following a concussion sustained against USC, though his availability for the upcoming ranked matchup against UCLA remains uncertain pending protocol clearance.
In his absence, Dylan Raiola stepped in to complete 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns during the previous victory, giving the program a reliable alternative under center. Head coach Dan Lanning noted that the team will prioritize Moore's long-term health rather than rushing him back for Saturday's kickoff.
Both programs are preparing for the possibility of either quarterback starting.
