Dan Campbell can’t reassure fans who think Kerby Joseph’s career is done

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed that safeties Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch will not resume practicing this week, keeping both players sidelined. Joseph has been out since October 12, 2025, due to a cartilage issue in his knee, while Branch is recovering from an Achilles injury.

Additionally, the team suffered another heavy blow to its defensive backfield as Avonte Maddox was ruled out for the remainder of the year following foot surgery.
