Dak Prescott delivered a stellar performance during the Dallas Cowboys matchup against the Washington Commanders, securing a 37-20 victory to rebound from their opening-week defeat. The quarterback completed 26 of 31 passing attempts for a total of 279 yards and threw four touchdowns without giving up any interceptions.

During the fourth-quarter surge, Prescott successfully connected with CeeDee Lamb on a 24-yard scoring play to record his 249th career touchdown pass. This achievement allowed him to surpass Tony Romo and claim the all-time franchise record for touchdown passes.
