Cowboys news: Team ‘hopeful’ Joey Porter Jr. makes season debut Sunday

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer expressed encouragement following the defensive player's initial workout session with the franchise. Porter arrived via a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers to help stabilize an injury-plagued defensive backfield facing a struggling Houston Texans offense.
