Cowboys news: Dallas still firmly in division race thanks to other NFC East teams

Following a difficult Thursday defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dallas squad received a massive break in the NFC East standings over the weekend. Philadelphia dropped their contest to Jacksonville after surrendering a late lead, while the Giants and Commanders played to a deadlock due to late clock mismanagement.

Despite struggles stringing consecutive victories together during the Schottenheimer era and a missed fourth-quarter interception by DaRon Bland that could have secured a win on Thursday, Dallas remains well within striking distance of the division crown as every other rival failed to secure a victory.
