Cowboys news: Brian Schottenheimer takes the blame for Week 3 loss

Following a Week 3 defeat against the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer accepted full responsibility during his Tuesday media session for late-game play calls that hampered his team's opportunity to secure a victory. Concurrently, the organization faces a growing defensive crisis as numerous starters in the secondary have suffered injuries across the opening three weeks, prompting plans to sign free agents Alex Austin and Juanyeh Thomas to bolster the roster.

Despite the team's 1-2 record, owner Jerry Jones indicated that active discussions continue regarding potential personnel additions.
