Cowboys DC Christian Parker: Joey Porter Jr. a "boundary-eraser" who can do a lot for us

Dallas defensive assistant Christian Parker found his Wednesday evening interrupted when he discovered his franchise had acquired cornerback Joey Porter Jr via trade. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the coach labeled his newest defensive back a boundary-eraser whose ability to handle solo coverage will allow the unit to shift personnel and add extra support against the run.

Porter participated in Thursday training sessions, though coaching staff remained noncommittal regarding whether he would be active for Sunday's matchup against Houston.
