Colapinto handed Sepang penalty for causing Baku F1 pile-up

Franco Colapinto received a five-place grid sanction for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix after triggering a multi-car collision during the recent Formula 1 event in Baku. Following a safety car deployment triggered by Alexander Albon exiting the Azerbaijan Grand Prix midway through, the Alpine competitor suffered a severe braking lock-up upon the race resumption and collided directly with Pierre Gasly.
