Coki Nieto must sit out for a month from the World Championships

Spanish padel star **Coki Nieto** has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming **Germany P2** tournament in Düsseldorf due to persistent physical issues, just days after reaching the semifinals in Rotterdam alongside his regular partner **Mike Yanguas**. The pair fell to **Franco Stupaczuk** and **Jon Sanz** in the Dutch event, but their recent success has been overshadowed by Nieto’s injury concerns.

With the German tournament now off the table, Nieto’s recovery becomes the top priority, as his absence creates an unexpected opening for a 'lucky loser' team to step in. The next major test for his fitness will be the **Milano P1** event next week, though his participation remains uncertain.

If he cannot compete in Italy, Nieto’s focus will shift to the high-stakes end-of-season schedule, including the **Major of Kuwait**, **World Championships in Qatar**, and the **P1 of Dubai**, all packed into three weeks with no room for delay.
