CM Vijay announces INR 75 lakh reward for Washington Sundar after Asian Games gold

Tamil Nadu leader C. Joseph Vijay has granted a financial reward of 75 lakh rupees to local cricketer Washington Sundar following the national squad's triumph at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.

The national side secured the championship by defeating their arch-rivals by nineteen runs in the title match, where the all-rounder claimed a pair of dismissals.
