Clemson’s Dabo Swinney still has delusions of ACC title grandeur after getting smoked by Miami

Following a heavy 41-13 defeat to Miami on Saturday, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney maintained an optimistic outlook regarding his squad. Despite the Hurricanes accumulating 419 total yards and forcing the Tigers to commit 10 penalties for 91 yards, Swinney stated that he still believes his group can contend for an ACC championship this season.

The Tigers generated 350 total yards of offense during the contest, though they struggled significantly on the ground with only 55 rushing yards. With this loss, Clemson dropped to a 3-2 record overall and 2-1 in conference play ahead of their upcoming matchup against Charleston Southern on October 17.
