Chuba Hubbard's 15-yard TD gives Panthers 7-3 lead over Lions

Carolina moved ahead early in the contest after Chuba Hubbard sprinted 15 yards for a touchdown. The scoring march spanned 72 yards across eight plays and lasted four minutes, with the Panthers avoiding any third-down scenarios during the series.

Quarterback Bryce Young has been perfect to start the game, completing all seven of his passing attempts for 68 yards. Detroit initially took the lead when Jake Bates connected on a 54-yard field goal during their opening possession.

The Lions have struggled to sustain drives so far, failing to convert on third down in their first two opportunities.
