Chiefs DB Chamarri Conner set to make his season debut

Kansas City defensive back Chamarri Conner prepares for his first appearance of the 2026 campaign this weekend after being sidelined due to a knee injury. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo expressed enthusiasm about integrating the versatile defender back into various packages as either a nickel back or safety.

Meanwhile, left tackle Josh Simmons remains unavailable for his fourth straight contest because of a lower back issue involving a bulging disc, leaving rookie Khalil Benson to continue filling his spot on the line.
