Chargers signing WR Gary Jennings to active roster

The Los Angeles Chargers are bolstering their depth at wideout by adding Gary Jennings to their active roster. Jennings previously played in the UFL as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks, matching up against opponents such as the Columbus Aviators.

The roster maneuver comes on the heels of Los Angeles dropping their opening game of the season to the Arizona Cardinals. During that contest, wide receiver Ladd McConkey was forced to exit with an issue involving his ribs, which will be watched closely leading into their Week 2 showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders.
