Eugenio Chacarra secured his third victory of the 2026 season by winning the DP World India Championship, finishing at 21-under par and taking the lead in the Race to Dubai standings on the European Tour. His strong performance—including a 9-under 63 in the opening round—propelled him ahead of Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy, who finished 23rd and 42nd, respectively, in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Vijay Singh made history as the second-oldest player to win on the PGA Tour Champions, closing with a 3-under 69 to claim the SAS Championship at age 63. Singh’s victory marked his sixth PGA Tour Champions title and first in over three years, following a season where he had no top-10 finishes until Sunday’s win.
Bernhard Langer remains the only player older than Singh to win on the Champions Tour, with his own victories coming at 67 and beyond.
Elsewhere, Ruoning Yin of China captured her seventh LPGA Tour win with a one-shot victory in the Buick LPGA Shanghai, finishing at 11-under 277 after a clutch 4-foot birdie on the 16th hole. Hye-Jin Choi, who had led after three rounds, finished second with a 71.
On the Asian Tour, Wei-hsuan Wang defeated Sungjae Im in a playoff after chipping in for eagle on the 18th hole, while Hamish Brown claimed his third Challenge Tour title in the Hangzhou Open. Yusaku Hosono also secured his first British Open berth with a two-shot win in the Japan Open, and Joey Savoie won the PGA Oceans 4 Tour Championship with a bogey-free 67.
