Cash Taiese impressed with Utah’s offense following Kansas visit

No. 12 Utah secured a 41–24 victory over Kansas on Saturday night, extending their undefeated start to 4–0 in the Big 12.

The Utes’ ground attack was led by Wayshawn Parker, who rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns, anchoring a dominant offensive performance. Though Kansas mounted a late push, Utah held firm in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Jayhawks 14–0 in the final frame to preserve the win.

Despite the offensive firepower, Utah’s defense showed vulnerabilities in pass coverage and pass-rush production, areas that will demand immediate attention as the season progresses. The win keeps Utah on track for a strong conference campaign, though coach Morgan Scalley will likely focus on defensive adjustments in the coming days.

Kansas, now 2–2, will look to regroup ahead of their next rivalry matchup.
