Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has drawn comparisons to Sir Alex Ferguson following his harsh public assessment of a refereeing decision. Pundit Jamie Carragher suggested that the Spanish tactician is increasingly resembling the former Manchester United icon within the top flight.

The comparison emerged after Arteta voiced deep displeasure over a spot-kick called against his team on Saturday. Despite the contentious ruling, the Gunners still managed to secure a 2-0 victory during their away trip to Sunderland.
