Severe weather conditions at Port Royal forced officials to truncate the Butterfield Bermuda Championship to 54 holes. High winds made the course unplayable on Sunday, preventing the completion of the final round.
Austin Smotherman and Seamus Power finished the shortened event tied at 16 under par. The two golfers will return to the course on Monday morning to compete in a sudden-death playoff.
The winner of this head-to-head matchup will secure a prize of $1.08 million from the tournament's total $6 million purse.
