Browns win battle with Steelers but are losing war with Deshaun Watson | Opinion

Cleveland secured a narrow 27-24 victory against Pittsburgh on Thursday night at Huntington Bank Field to kick off Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season. Andre Szmyt sealed the win with a 56-yard field goal in the final seconds, pushing the team to a 3-1 record and sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

Deshaun Watson directed the offense through another solid outing, while Aaron Rodgers endured a frustrating evening that included visible friction with Mike McCarthy and teammates. Despite the early success under their rookie head coach, questions linger regarding the franchise's long-term trajectory and the controversial quarterback situation.
