Browns vs. Jaguars: 4 winners, lots of losers as Cleveland gets destroyed

The Jacksonville Jaguars kicked off their 2026 campaign with an emphatic 34-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on September 13 at EverBank Stadium. Behind a stellar outing from quarterback Trevor Lawrence and an aggressive defensive showing, Jacksonville took charge right from the opening quarter to mount a commanding advantage.

Cleveland finally managed a late touchdown, but recurring penalties and widespread difficulties on both sides of the ball prevented any realistic comeback.

The lopsided defeat spoiled head coach Todd Monken's debut on the Cleveland sideline. Starting quarterback Deshaun Watson labored heavily with an ineffective attack before making notable remarks regarding accountability, while the roster also suffered from the absence of Myles Garrett.

Outside of a strong display by their special teams unit, rookie Mason Graham and the remaining young core stood as rare bright points for the visiting squad.
