The Denver Broncos staged a dramatic late rally to defeat the winless Los Angeles Chargers 23–17 in a hard-fought road game at SoFi Stadium. Down 17–10 with under two minutes left in the fourth quarter, Denver’s defense sparked the comeback with a game-changing turnover.
Safety Talanoa Hufanga forced a fumble on Chargers tight end Charlie Kolar, setting up a quick scoring drive capped by a 34-yard touchdown pass from Bo Nix to Evan Engram. J.K.
Dobbins then sealed the win with a short touchdown run two plays later, giving the Broncos their first lead of the game. The victory came despite a sluggish first half, where both teams settled for field goals, and a disastrous third quarter in which Denver managed just five offensive yards before the turnover.
The Chargers’ offense, led by quarterback Bo Nix, struggled against Denver’s late-game defensive surge, while the Broncos’ offense capitalized on the defensive spark to secure the narrow win. The victory, however, comes with challenges ahead as Denver faces a short week before hosting the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
