Bristol bring in hooker Gordon as injury cover

Bristol has acquired Bryn Gordon on a short-term contract to provide depth at the hooker position while Harry Thacker recovers from a neck injury sustained during a Prem Rugby Cup fixture last month. Director of rugby Pat Lam expressed enthusiasm for the new arrival, noting the depth and competition the twenty-five-year-old former Newcastle and North Harbour competitor will bring to the roster.

Alongside that roster adjustment, prop Andrew Turner has committed to a contract extension with the Bears following his arrival from Doncaster prior to the current season. Club management opted not to reveal the exact duration of either player's newly agreed terms.
