Brilliant Rays bats, brutal Yankees defense leave Bombers in 2-0 hole

The Tampa Bay bats dominated the American League Cy Young Award favorite during the second contest of the American League Division Series. Tampa Bay secured a 5-1 triumph to claim a two-game advantage in the matchup as New York faltered defensively with five miscues over six frames.

Cam Schlittler struggled to subdue the opposition while relying primarily on his fastball strategy instead of leaning heavily on his curveball. The pitcher logged just seven swings and misses alongside two strikeouts across the outing at Tropicana Field.
