Breanna Stewart Powers Liberty Past No. 1 Lynx in WNBA Playoff Opener

Breanna Stewart spearheaded a dominant performance on Sunday, posting 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists as the eighth-seeded New York Liberty overwhelmed the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx 91-75 in their opening postseason matchup. Sabrina Ionescu and Leonie Fiebich contributed significantly from beyond the arc, helping the visitors pull away during a stellar second-half surge that outscored the home side 51-31.

Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve and her squad struggled with defensive fouls while trying to contain Stewart, leaving Minnesota facing elimination ahead of Tuesday's game in Brooklyn.
