Becky Hammon Roasts Caitlin Clark, Fever Comparison to Aces After Game 3 Win

Following a playoff victory on Thursday, Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon firmly rejected comparisons between her current championship franchise and the Indiana Fever squad led by Caitlin Clark. During a press conference after the 94-83 series-clinching win, Hammon quickly dismissed a reporter trying to draw parallels between the two teams' early trajectories and high draft capital.

While acknowledging that Indiana possesses strong potential with a core featuring Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell, Hammon insisted that her own path to building a three-time champion in Las Vegas was entirely distinct. The postseason elimination marks the second consecutive year that Clark and the Fever have been bounced in the opening round by Hammon's squad, a matchup highlighted by A'ja Wilson scoring 36 points and grabbing 10 rebounds alongside Clark's 18-point, four-assist performance.
