BAN vs SL Playing 11 Today, Live Streaming, Pitch & Weather: Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, Asian Games 2026 Bronze Medal Match

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are set to meet in the third-place playoff of the Asian Games 2026 men's cricket tournament. Both squads enter this fixture aiming to secure a podium finish following respective semi-final defeats, where Bangladesh fell short against Pakistan despite a resilient knock from Towhid Hridoy, and Sri Lanka suffered a heavy loss to India after being bowled out cheaply.

The upcoming contest will take place under favorable morning weather, though batters may face difficulties timing the ball on a slower track that could favor spin bowling.

Captains and tactical setups will lean heavily on key contributors as both sides attempt to rebound. Bangladesh's lineup features Litton Das, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Saif Hasan, Yasir Ali, Mosaddek Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shoriful Islam.

Sri Lanka's projected team includes Niroshan Dickwella, Lasith Croospulle, Nuwanidu Fernando, Ashen Bandara, Sahan Arachchige, Chamika Karunaratne, Wanuja Sahan, Dushan Hemantha, Tharindu Ratnayake, Nuwan Thushara, and Binura Fernando. Particular attention will be on the tactical battle between Niroshan Dickwella and Mustafizur Rahman during the opening powerplay.
