Bailey Stockton injury: Florida receiver helped off after brutal Joenel Aguero targeting

During the second quarter of the Gators' SEC home opener against the fourth-ranked Rebels, Florida wide receiver Bailey Stockton suffered a severe injury following a helmet-to-helmet collision. Rebels safety Joenel Aguero delivered the dangerous hit, which led to an immediate ejection after officials reviewed the play for targeting.

Medical personnel evaluated the receiver directly on the turf before he managed to exit the playing area with physical support, leaning on a trainer while heading toward the home sideline for additional medical checks.
