The Wisconsin Badgers are set to face another top-tier opponent in back-to-back primetime showdowns, continuing their streak of high-profile matchups this season. After a 36-9 victory over Western Illinois earlier this month, the Badgers will travel to Pasadena to take on the No.
12 UCLA Bruins, who recently defeated the Oregon Ducks. With Wisconsin already having faced Notre Dame and Penn State against ranked competition, this game against UCLA—who are undefeated at 5-0—will be critical for the Badgers, who sit at 4-1 and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
A win could push them into the AP Top 25 rankings for the first time since early 2024, as they remain the highest-ranked team outside the current poll. The Bruins’ starting quarterback, Nico Iamaleava, is sidelined indefinitely with a knee injury, leaving either Ty Dieffenbach or Madden Iamaleava to lead the offense against Wisconsin.
The Badgers will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Central on NBC, marking their second consecutive primetime game, with the Big Ten ensuring a standalone evening slot for Wisconsin.
Just one week later, the Badgers will host the No. 19 USC Trojans in another primetime matchup at Camp Randall Stadium, further cementing their status as a must-watch team this season.
