Asian Tour postpones season-ending PIF Saudi International amid Middle East conflict

The Asian Tour has officially delayed its final tournament of the year, the PIF Saudi International, as a direct result of ongoing security concerns in the region. This decision follows a series of violent incidents, including a recent strike on King Khalid International Airport that resulted in twelve fatalities.

Other high-profile events have faced similar disruptions, with the Six Kings Slam tennis exhibition featuring Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic pushed from late October to December. Additionally, the Asian Cup football tournament remains under review, with officials acknowledging the possibility of a one-year postponement to 2028 if conditions do not stabilize.
