Asian Games: Sarvesh Kushare, Ancy Sojan win silver as India’s search for gold continues

India collected multiple track and field medals at the Asian Games, led by Sarvesh Anil Kushare and Ancy Sojan who both finished with silver after missing out on top finishes during final attempts. Kushare shared a height of 2.25m with Fu Chao-hsuan but lost on countback, while Sojan was overtaken by Huang Yingying in the final round of the long jump.

Meanwhile, Tejaswin Shankar secured a bronze medal in the decathlon event after accumulating 7,934 points across ten disciplines.
