Asian Games: Chitale, Manush assure TT medal

India has guaranteed itself another podium finish in table tennis at the continental multi-sport event. Diya Chitale and Manush Shah advanced through the mixed doubles quarterfinals on Friday after defeating the formidable Hong Kong duo of Doo Hoi Kem and Wong Chun Ting by a margin of three games to one.

The triumphant Indian duo controlled the contest across four tightly contested games, prevailing 11-6, 13-15, 11-9, and 11-5. This victory successfully locks in a semifinal appearance and secures at least a bronze medal.
