India enjoyed a busy day six at the Asian Games in Nagoya, highlighted by a silver medal in the mixed 4x400m relay from the quartet of Manu, Vithya Ramaraj, Poovamma, and Vishal TK. On the shooting front, Kamaljeet and Suruchi opened the mixed team 10m air pistol qualification strongly with an early 196 score in their first 20 attempts.

In badminton, Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto dominated the opening game of their mixed doubles encounter against Aminath Abdul Razzaq and Nibal Ahmed by a 21-8 margin. Meanwhile, the men's team foil fencing squad faced a difficult knockout challenge against Hong Kong after early losses by Sachin, Hemash Singh, and Aaditya.
