Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride delivered a dominant performance to start the 2026 NFL season, guiding his squad to an impressive 26-14 road triumph over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Colorado State product hauled in nine catches for 95 receiving yards and scored a touchdown.

This opening-week showing pushed McBride to the very top of the league in total receptions while ranking him second across the NFL in receiving yards.

McBride's productive outing not only propelled head coach Mike LaFleur's team to a 1-0 record, but it also moved the All-Pro closer to a historic tight end benchmark established by Jimmy Graham.
