The Ducks’ struggles have erased their preseason momentum, dropping them to 3-2 and out of the poll for the first time since their 2022 opener against Georgia.
Other notable shifts include UCLA’s nine-spot rise to No. 12 after defeating Oregon, Kentucky’s return to the rankings at No.
15 following a thrilling overtime win over LSU, and Northwestern’s first-ever ranking under coach David Braun at No. 25.
Florida, meanwhile, vanished from the poll entirely after a home loss to South Carolina, while Pittsburgh also dropped out following a late-game collapse against North Carolina.
