Angel Reese powered the Atlanta Dream to a 79-65 victory over the Golden State Valkyries in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals at the Chase Center in San Francisco, posting 30 points on 10-of-16 shooting, 16 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. The performance made her the youngest player ever to record a 30‑point, 15‑rebound playoff game and the youngest to log a 20‑point, 10‑rebound effort in a Finals contest, doing so at 24 years, 166 days old, and joining only two others as the third player with a 30‑15 Finals line.
After the win, Reese posted a five‑word message on X that read “DUBS IN THE MF CHAT,” underscoring her confidence. The Dream will head back to Atlanta for Games 3 and 4, while Golden State coach Natalie Nakase urged her squad to cut turnovers after the loss.
