Following a quiet second half in the series opener, Atlanta forward Angel Reese bounced back in a major way during Game 2 of the WNBA Finals. Reese recorded 30 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Dream to a 79-65 triumph over the Golden State Valkyries, leveling the championship series at one game apiece.
Her standout night places her alongside Jonquel Jones and Breanna Stewart as the only players to reach at least 30 points and 15 rebounds in a Finals contest. Teammates Allisha Gray, Jordin Canada, and Rhyne Howard also contributed significantly to secure the franchise's breakthrough victory, while Gabby Williams paced the Valkyries.
