All 14 Writers At The NHL's Website Predict Senators Will Miss The Playoffs

Every single writer and analyst contributing to the official league web portal left the Ottawa club entirely out of their postseason projections for the upcoming campaign. This unanimous skepticism follows a two-year playoff run that ended with a first-round exit against the eventual champions, alongside the notable offseason departure of forward Brady Tkachuk.

Even so, the roster returns key offensive producers like Tim Stützle, Drake Batherson, Dylan Cozens, and Shane Pinto, while also welcoming newcomers William Eklund and Andre Burakovsky to help offset the lost production. Travis Green's squad will also rely on strong blue-line play from Jake Sanderson and Thomas Chabot, plus improved late-season form from goaltender Linus Ullmark.
