Alexander Volkanovski admits Movsar Evloev boos got in his head

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski acknowledged that the persistent booing from the crowd during his fights against Movsar Evloev has had a psychological impact on his performance. The Australian fighter, who is preparing for a title defense at UFC 333, revealed that Evloev’s ability to draw negative reactions from fans has been a notable challenge, adding an extra layer of pressure to their upcoming rematch.

Meanwhile, Evloev’s undefeated record of 20-0, including a 10-fight win streak in the UFC, has drawn scrutiny from fellow fighters and analysts, particularly due to his lack of stoppage victories in the Octagon despite a perfect decision record. The contrast between Evloev’s dominance on the scorecards and his inability to finish fights has sparked debates about his place in the division, especially as the UFC continues to evaluate its roster ahead of major events like UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi.
