ALCS Game 2 Chat and Discussion

The American League Championship Series resumes tonight with Game 2 between the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays, as the Guardians look to extend their series lead after a 7-3 victory in Game 1. The Rays, trailing 1-0 in the best-of-seven series, will aim to avoid a two-game deficit at home, sending Freddy Peralta to the mound for his first start since joining the team via trade.

Cleveland’s Parker Messick, who has struggled in the postseason with a 5.40 ERA, will make his third start of the playoffs. The Guardians have now won four straight playoff games after dropping their first two, while the Rays’ three-game postseason win streak ended in the opener.

The matchup begins at 8 p.m. ET on TBS, truTV, and HBO Max, offering fans another high-stakes chapter in the ALCS.
