Alabama Looks Like SEC's Team to Beat After Humbling Mississippi State

Eleventh-ranked Alabama dominated sixteenth-ranked Mississippi State on the road with a 56-23 blowout victory, silencing any doubts about their early season strength and extending their winning streak against the Bulldogs. Quarterback Keelon Russell put on a masterclass for the Crimson Tide, totaling four touchdowns through the air and on the ground while anchoring a flawless offensive outing free of turnovers.

Meanwhile, the visiting defense stifled Mississippi State's explosive attack by forcing four turnovers and dropping signal-caller Kamario Taylor five times, despite a strong individual receiving performance from Anthony Evans III alongside Dijon Lee Jr. and Ivan Taylor making defensive plays.
